Other days, you can find me meeting with readers, fellow writers, librarians, teachers—and other bookish people. Below are some past events I’ve been honored to attend and future ones I can’t wait for! Please email if you’d like to invite me to an event, conference, or book me for a bookstore, library, or school visit. I’d love to meet you!
Who's going to AASL in Tampa in October? I'll be there talking about books, meeting up with some of my current and new publishers, and supporting as well as meeting librarians! DM me if you are going, and you'd like to schedule a time to meet. xoxo PJM

I had the pleasure of appeaing at the JAX BOOK FEST in Jacksonville, FL. Here’s my recent post on it!:
Three cheers for the Jacksonville Public Library JAX BOOK FEST this weekend. I had a wonderful day meeting book lovers BIG and small, fellow writers + authors + poets, and lovely library people, too. With each visitor who stopped by to check out my latest books, I asked if they liked to write stories or draw pictures, and if they wanted to make a small book (or an idea catcher) with me! This was a huge hit! Thx JAX LIB for inviting me! xoxo PJM #luckyme #I Love Libraries #American Library Association #Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators #SPCK Publishing #pleaseinvitemetoyournextbookfest

While I was there, I signed my latest book, GOD IS EVERYWHERE (SPCK/LION HUDSON), met with editors, librarians, teachers, and fellow authors. I also had dinner with Mac Kids’ NYT Bestselling Author, Eoin Colfer and a wonderful team of MAC KIDS’ folks at Colfer’s dinner celebrating his latest title, Jasper’s Christmas! We exchanged books, swapped stories, and celebrated readers!
On top of this, I attended the Caldecott/Newbery and Legacy Award Ceremony with my friend and fellow book creator, Heidi Sheffield. Thanks to my pubisher, SPCK/LION HUDSON for sending me. It was a magical and miraculous time in Chicago!
ONE OF THE BEST PARTS OF ALA? Signing a book for Baby Louis (pronounced Lou-e) who has yet to be born! Thanks, SPCK/LION HUDSON! . xoxo PJM
