The Society of Children’s Books Books for Readers
I have been both honored and humbled to work as the Literacy Creative Consultant for The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) first literacy initiative.
As part of the SCBWI BOOKS FOR READERS WORLDWIDE BOOK DRIVE, I pitched this idea to SCBWI to Lin Oliver, the co-founder and current managing director the SCBWI Impact and Legacy Fun, and helped to create, to publicize, and to promote this initiative to increase book access for readers in need worldwide as well as to advance the mission of SCBWI.
